The staff was nice and friendly. The food was delicious. It is pricey especially if you are having a lobster roll. I prefer it warm. The chowder was my favorite.

Found this place on google and I was wanting a Boston clam chowdah before my trip was over! Paulis did not disappoint! This was also the perfect mid freedom trail break! It was right off the trail, and right in the middle, and easy to find! The only con would be the inside was really small, thankfully seats became available to us by the time our food was ready, nonetheless I would recommend to anyone going to Boston!

Small place in the heart of the city serving wide range of sandwiches. Famous for lobster based dishes. Tried their signature hot lobster roll, it’s was delicious soaked in hot butter and perfect for the cold weather of Boston. Would definitely go back and try more items on their menu. Went in the early hours pretty sure get crowded as the day gets going.

This was my first lobster roll experience. I think it may have ruined it for me, it was so delicious that I may never riding one that good again. I will keep trying while we are in the NE but it's going to be hard. Their bread is so soft and fresh too. We also go clam chowder and a meatball sub, also Excellent. The service was extremely fast and they were all very friendly. They have limited seating and the place stayed busy the whole time we were there.

Traveled to Boston for the 4 Nations Face-off and stayed a few blocks from TD Garden. Local bartender at Durty Nelly's referred us to Pauli's. It was a great suggestion as the food was outstanding there! My Canadian buddy and I both had the cheeseburger on their fresh daily made buns and it was amazing! Definitely worth stopping in for a superb foodie experience.

Amazing Sandwiches & Great Service! I had an absolutely delicious fried chicken sandwich at Paul’s Subs & Wraps! The bread was perfect—no trans fat—and the sandwich was packed with crispy fried chicken, fresh tomato, lettuce, cheese, and ranch dressing. It was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had, even compared to places in Texas! They also made a wrap with the same ingredients, and it was just as tasty. Other people in my group had the lobster roll, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The iced tea was a great deal at just 2.50. The food was prepared very quickly, the staff was super friendly, and the overall atmosphere was nice. I’d definitely come back—highly recommend this place!

This was my favorite lobster roll place I've tried so far. I had the hot butter lobster and requested more hot butter on the side so I can dip the sandwich in it. Chips are included but you can get fries, onion rings and salad for 3 more. (I wish I got the salad option, it wasn't offered to me but I saw someone afterwards get it. It's too much fat with onion rings lol) Yum. It was fresh and delicious. The price was also much more reasonable than what I paid for in Quincy market.

This place is legit good!! Lobster rolls are fresh and buttery. Toasted to perfection staff were friendly and I ordered the clam chowder which was also very creamy and not fishy at all. Overall good experience, I sat and ate at the restaurant. The Diners, Drive ins and Dives Guy Fieri also been there. Not sure if it was featured in one of the episodes though. 29.99 for lobster roll and 7.99 for the chowder.
